The highlight of this school visit was the service learning component, where our pupils were tasked to teach English Language. The five groups, headed by our fluent native speakers, proceeded swiftly with their lessons. Despite the initial language barrier, they persevered, and tried different means to bring their ideas across. The pupils from the Madrasah were also very cooperative, as they attempted to answer all the questions posed to them, with much enthusiasm.

Apart from classroom teaching, our pupils also engaged their counterparts in a game of soccer for the boys and captain’s ball for the girls. From the squeals of laughter through the games, it was evident that the natives enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

On 21st May, Sec 3D also visited the Madrasah School, with the same agenda.
