CIP on 20th May - Tree Planting

On 20th May, our pupils from Sec 3C, 3E and 3G and teachers together with top officials of Karimun woke up early in the morning at 7 am (Karimun Time) and gathered in full strength to assist the island in its tree-planting effort.

Before the tree planting, we stopped by a playground where the pupils and teachers had a great time returning to "childhood" and having fun with the swings and see - saw.

Look at how happy and carefree we all were.. putting aside our inhibitations and just having fun :)








When the top officials arrived, we got down to serious work and got our hands dirty with the hope of creating a greener environment in Karimun. Some pupils even asked for more trees to plant after they were done with theirs. For most of the pupils, it was a refreshing experience as it was their first time digging using a hoe.
