On 21st May, Sec 3F together with their teachers went to spend some time with the orphans at one of the orphanages in Karimun.
On the bus journey there, we were heartened to hear the the girls telling their male classmates to treat the orphans with more care and graciousness because of their situations. :) Sec 3F, you have really proven yourself to have a heart for others. We teachers could see it from the effort you put in during the weeding of the Sepak Takraw court and how you opened your hearts during the interactions with the orphans in your game of soccer and drawing.
You have also shown so much sportmanship and friendship towards the orphans even though we have lost to our Indonesian friends in our game of soccer. I am sure you have learnt so much from our Indonesian friends. Well done pupils of Sec 3F! Your graciousness was indeed a moving sight for the teachers.
Finally thank to you to all the teachers especially Mr Kong who have moulded the pupils into such fine and mature young adults. :)
